Dentons Link Legal advised BLS International Services Limited (“BLS”) in relation to the 100% acquisition of Turkey based entity, iData Danismanlik Ve Hizmet Dis Ticaret Anonim Sirketi (“iData”) and its 12 international subsidiaries, engaged in the business of visa and consular services in various jurisdictions. The share purchase agreement was executed by BLS’s UAE subsidiary, BLS International FZE and the closing is subject to completion of customary conditions precedent including receipt of statutory approvals.

The Dentons Link Legal team comprised of Ira Swain (Principal Associate) and Soma Swain (Associate) headed by Milind Jha (Partner). BLS was also advised by Balcioglu Selçuk Ardiyok Keki Attorney Partnership (BASEAK) on Turkish law aspects. The acquisition is valued at EUR 50 Million (INR 450 Crores) along with additional milestone based payments.
