Dentons Link Legal is pleased to announce the launch of the first edition of our “The GIFT-IFSC Series”. While India’s maiden international financial center continues to evolve, this series aims at presenting a compilation of reference guide(s) setting out the key regulatory know-how for doing business in Gift City. The first edition of The GIFT-IFSC Series comprises:
Part I – “IFSC at GIFT-City - Contouring Indian Economy in Global Finance” – which is a holistic snapshot of the regulatory framework (including related incentives) of doing business in Gift City in various sectors and activities, including, Aviation leasing and financing; Banking, Finance and Insurance; Data Centres; setting up of Alternate Investments Funds, etc.
Part II – “Navigating the New Skies Aircraft Leasing and Financing in GIFT-City, India” – which sets out the regulatory framework for aircraft leasing from GIFT-City while correlating it with practical aspects, such as, key incentives and concerns.
Part III – “Unlocking Potential - Exploring Alternate Investment Funds in GIFT-City” – which sets out, inter-alia, the regulatory regime governing setting-up of and transacting business as Alternate Investment Funds in GIFT-City. To make the theory closer to practice, this Part also briefly identifies the key areas of evolution required for further ease of doing business from Gift City, in this sector.
